When we were having lunch Lhun came over to see how we were doing and to make the final arrangements for our check out, our bags were to be picked up at 5 and then he would pick us up and take us to a small cocktail party that was being held in the bar!
It was lovely, there were canapés, champagne and cocktails available all complimentary and it was a really lovely way to say goodbye to the Six Senses. Unfortunately by now the beautiful sunshine from earlier in the day had been replaced with monsoon rain from Typhoon Gaemi so it was a bit soggy to say the least, and the ride back on the speedboat was fairly bouncy.
Lhun had very kindly organised for us to be dropped off at their sister resort Evason where we could leave our luggage whilst we went to get something to eat, but instead we just used the free wifi in the lobby of the hotel to find a really nice looking restaurant called Good Morning Vietnam, on Tripadvisor.
The food was lovely and the service was great, Gem had Insalata Caprese to start and I had an antipasto board which was huge. For mains Gem had the special Pumpkin Ravioli and I had Beef Ravioli with ham and mushroom sauce, I know we are in Vietnam but this restaurant had such good reviews and I know that we are going to be eating a lot of Vietnamese food so we opted for Italian tonight and it didn't disappoint.
After the meal we headed for the train station to get the overnight sleeper to danang for hoi an.
