This was the trip advisor review we just had to leave that evening!!!
"From the emails we exchanged in the run up to the visit to meeting us at the train station to the printed personal menu, the little gift and the take away leftovers this was a very professional yet warm experience with a real personal touch. My husband and I are sat in our guesthouse not long returned from our visit to Chef Lokesh's house with very full bellies and plans for inviting friends for an authentic Indian banquet when we get back to the Uk, armed with the best Chicken Tikka Masala recipe ever! We were arriving a little later into Jaipur and Lokesh was so kind as to meet us at the train station, i recognised his jolly face instantly from his website. He was so accommodating from the outset as we needed to nip to an atm. Once arrived we were greeted by his wife and offered tea and then we began on the 8 (inc chutney)different dishes, we opted for the non veg and the few hours whizzed by as we watched, listened and helped to prepare. The handout was excellent as it has all of the quantities and recipes and then once done we sat upstairs at the family table with Lokesh and his wife to eat and felt more like friends having dinner, they are truly so accommodating, genuine, warm and lovely people and time flew by. If you are visiting Jaipur and/or love cooking, love eating, like eating Indian food and like to meet real people in their home then you would be daft not to fit this into your schedule. It is really fairly priced for the amount of ingredients he used, his time and resources etc the price is very very reasonable ....especially when you compare to sitting and eating a main dish each, naan and rice in an Indian Uk restaurant, that would set you back about £30 and you haven't learnt anything nor had the fortune to meet such lovely people that I would expect to have a lasting impression on you, they will now be on our xmas card list. A must do"
We learnt how to cook:
Butter chicken
Mutton curry
Naan bread
Cheese naan
Garlic naan
Fish tikka
Chicken tikka masala bonus!
Gulab jamun
Veg biryani
Dahl makhani
We loved having dinner with him and his wife in their home and Phill was even treated to a beer! They were just lovely and we chatted about growing veg, cooking, cakes, bakes and come dine with me!! We may have been thousands of miles from home but we felt at home.

This was such a special evening, i loved every minute of it even though i was really tired. We had been up since 5ish!! Gem xx
