Getting to Ranthambore

We are on a train right now, 7th oct and i have been blogging for some time but surprisingly Phill is awake beside me....blogging elefantastic on his phone as we are somewhat behind!

We have seen rickshaws crammed full of people but we have never flagged one down when we have all of our luggage with us. The hotel had booked us a rickshaw so we piled in all of our bags and headed to the train station.





We were booked on the 3 tier sleeper for our train to Sawai madhopur.











It was ok and in no time we had arrived at the train station. There we were to meet a representative from Khem Villas. I started walking, heading for the exit and in the distance I just heard 'maam, maam' as it turns out Phill had already been found and the gentleman stood next to him was shouting after me. The man was Dinesh, a really lovely man who we came to hold in high regard in the short time we knew him. He has worked for the company for quite a while now and only lives 2km away from the villas. He has such a lovely manner about him, he has such a sweet soft voice and keeps asking if "sir and maam are comfortable". He really helped us out on arrival as we were booked onto a safari for 2:30 and it was 1:45 when he met us so our schedule was a bit tight. He took us to the booking office to pick up our documentation and then he took us to Khem Villas to check in and have lunch as the safari vehicle would pick us up from the villa at about 3pm.
