Ranthambore fort

So we got up and were picked up by Dinesh for 6am to go to the fort. It was lovely wandering around it for a few hours in the cool and with hardly anyone else there. Dinesh was also able to take us up on the top of the fort for an amazing view. We made a visit to a hindu temple and received a red string bracelet as a way of showing we had visited and made prayer to Ganesh...which of course we didn't but we also got some flowers around our necks.

We got back from the walk at about 10am and had a lovely breakfast of a bit of everything to be honest as we decided to skip lunch today as we were going to be doing the cookery class that evening when we arrived in Jaipur. Post breakfast we put on our swimming gear and headed to the plunge pool, Phill had a cold beer in hand (naturally) and then it started to rain!

We managed about ten mins and then thought better of it and went and sat on our porch on the rocking chairs like old people. An hour later we had to pack our bags again and off we went to the train station for the 3 hour train ride to Jaipur and to meet Chef Lokesh at the station to be taken to his house for a cookery class.
