This is the view of the private dining 'Room' from the main resort area, its a glass box (with glass floor) at the far end of the olympic size swimming pool that hovers out of its own water feature. It looks back towards the main spa, through an avenue of tall palm trees and looks absolutely lovely when its all lit up.

The lighting was a little cool at first, until the waiter made it softer reds and put on some gentle italian opera in the background (think it was Andrea Boccelli)
Perspex table and chairs - bit weird but all added to the experience.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were excellent.
Its a 5 course tasting menu consisting of: (apologies for not having pics of each and the quality of the pics are not good due to the lighting). Gem thought you chose one from the starter, soup, salad, main and dessert but we got two starters, one soup, two salads, three mains and two puddings.

Spinach and feta canneloni / grilled fish with tomato caper butter/ broccoli gratin with chilli almond dressing
After our rather gluttonous meal we waddled down to the bar Van Gogh's for an Old Fashioned and a glass of Vino - and after a bit of impromptu flairing we head off to bed as we have an early start and a tour around the Dharavi Slum!
A good, but not great, old fashioned.... It just needed a dash of maraschino cherry juice in the top!
