Chill day at Waterstones

The staff at this hotel are fab, and as our flight out of Mumbai isnt until 7pm they have said we can keep our room until 4:30! Bonus!!!! This means we dont have to worry about getting up and packing, so we have a lovely lie in until 1, and then pop a bottle of fizz for breakfast! We do eventually pull our finger out and get our stuff together, and head down to the pool for a swim, jacuzzi and some lunch. The weather is glorious and this is the first time we have actually done any sunbathing!


Unfortunately 5pm comes far too quickly and we have to get a taxi to the domestic airport for our flight.
The domestic airport in Mumbai is tiny, and the departures area is literally screened off from the plane taxi area by some dodgy double glazing.
I know gem blogged about the kerfuffle on the plane in am earlier post so i wont go over it again, but i will say it was comedy gold! Like watching 'On a plane with the Kumars'.
We took off, we flew, we landed...and then checked into Anuurag Villa for the night, this place was a really pleasant surprise
