Our first monsoon experience

After the beer and wine at eleven am we headed to the palace and pagoda but got caught in our first monsoon shower. One minute we were sipping coconut water from a street vendor and the next we were taking cover under a tree.


Just got back to the hotel as gona get our rain cags on and get out again. Trying to decide which restaurant to go to for dinner tonight. I am starting to realise that this blog is mainly food related!

After the rain died down And a quick change at the hotel we ventured out to the Chinese temple in Chinatown area. It was gorgeous, I would have done some yoga had it not had people wandering around. There were coils of incense hanging from the ceiling and me and phill lit a candle each for our promises to each other from our wedding vows. The place was beautiful, the amount of work that has gone into that place is amazing.
